By using Buzix, Inc. services, visiting Buzix websites, maintaining an account, submitting payment, opening support tickets, or accessing the Buzix customer portal, you agree to this Privacy Policy, the Agreement and Terms of Service, and all other incorporated Buzix policies.

This Privacy Policy explains how Buzix, Inc. collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information related to customers, visitors, account contacts, authorized users, support contacts, billing contacts, and others who interact with Buzix, Inc. websites, systems, services, and support channels.

Information We Collect

Buzix, Inc. may collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of our services, and information collected automatically by our websites, servers, billing systems, security systems, and support systems.

Information we may collect includes, but is not limited to:

Payment Information

Buzix, Inc. may collect and maintain payment-related records, including invoice history, payment dates, payment amounts, transaction IDs, payment method type, billing status, failed payment notices, refunds, chargebacks, and dispute information.

Credit card payments are processed through third-party payment processors or payment gateways. Buzix, Inc. does not store full credit card numbers directly on its servers. Server Logs, Security Logs, and Diagnostic Data

As a hosting provider, Buzix, Inc. maintains technical logs necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support hosting services. These logs may include IP addresses, usernames, email addresses, domain names, URLs, timestamps, login attempts, mail activity, firewall events, blocked connections, web requests, FTP activity, control panel activity, and other technical information.

Buzix, Inc. may use these logs to diagnose service issues, investigate abuse, respond to customer requests, detect unauthorized access, identify compromised accounts, determine whether a problem is server-side or customer-side, and protect Buzix systems and other customers.

Cookies and Website Tracking

Buzix websites and customer portal systems may use cookies, session cookies, authentication cookies, security cookies, preference cookies, and similar technologies to operate the website, maintain login sessions, protect accounts, process forms, improve usability, and support normal website operation.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent certain parts of the Buzix website, customer portal, payment system, or support system from functioning properly.

Support Tickets and Customer Communications

When you contact Buzix, Inc. by support ticket, email, phone, customer portal, or other communication method, we may retain the communication and related account information. Customers should not send unnecessary sensitive information through support tickets or email. Buzix, Inc. may request limited information needed to verify account ownership or diagnose a technical issue, but customers remain responsible for avoiding unnecessary disclosure of private, confidential, or regulated information.

Policy Acceptance Records

Buzix, Inc. may require customers to accept the current Agreement and Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Billing Policy, Abuse Policy, Limitation of Liability Policy, Support Policy, or other incorporated policies before submitting support tickets, making payments, renewing services, accessing the customer portal, or continuing service.

Buzix, Inc. may record policy acceptance information, including customer ID, user ID, account ID, timestamp, IP address, policy version, browser information, and other reasonable records needed to document acceptance.

How We Share Information

Buzix, Inc. does not sell customer personal information. Buzix, Inc. may share information when reasonably necessary to provide services, process payments, support customer accounts, protect systems, comply with legal obligations, or enforce Buzix policies.

Information may be shared with:

  • Payment processors, banks, credit card processors, PayPal, or payment gateways.
  • Domain registrars, registry operators, DNS providers, SSL providers, software vendors, control panel providers, and other service providers needed to operate customer services.
  • Data centers, upstream providers, network providers, security vendors, spam filtering providers, backup providers, or technical vendors.
  • Account owners, authorized contacts, billing contacts, technical contacts, or persons authorized by the customer.

Customer Content and Hosted Data

Customers may upload, store, transmit, publish, or receive content through Buzix hosting services. Customer content may include website files, databases, email, images, logs, scripts, backups, and other hosted data.

Buzix, Inc. does not routinely review customer content except as needed to provide service, respond to support requests, investigate abuse or security issues, comply with legal obligations, enforce policies, perform backups or migrations, or protect Buzix systems and other customers.

Customers are responsible for the privacy, legality, accuracy, security, and backup of their own hosted content and for complying with all laws that apply to information they collect, store, process, transmit, or publish through Buzix services.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, securing passwords, limiting access to authorized users, protecting their own devices, maintaining website software, configuring mail clients properly, and complying with privacy laws that apply to their own websites, email lists, forms, customers, users, and hosted data.

If a customer uses Buzix services to collect personal information from others, the customer is responsible for posting and following their own privacy policy where required, obtaining appropriate consent where required, securing collected information, and responding to privacy requests related to the customer's own users, visitors, subscribers, or customers.

Data Security

Buzix, Inc. uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect systems and account information. However, no hosting service, website, mail system, server, network, Internet transmission, backup system, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Buzix, Inc. does not warrant or guarantee that unauthorized access, compromise, data loss, malware, phishing, credential theft, software vulnerability, customer-side compromise, or other security event will never occur.

Data Retention

Buzix, Inc. retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, investigate abuse, preserve security records, process billing, maintain backups, and support legitimate business operations.

Different types of records may be retained for different periods. Backups, logs, support tickets, billing records, security records, and account history may remain for a period of time after service cancellation or termination.

Email Communications

Buzix, Inc. may send service-related emails, invoice notices, payment reminders, support responses, security notices, abuse notices, account notices, policy notices, and other operational communications. These communications are part of maintaining an active account and may not be fully optional while services remain active.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that Buzix email addresses are not blocked, filtered, rejected, or sent to spam. Failure to receive or read Buzix communications does not waive customer obligations or prevent billing, suspension, termination, or enforcement actions.

Accessing or Updating Your Information

Customers may review and update certain account information through the MyBuzix customer portal. Customers may also contact Buzix, Inc. through an authorized support ticket to request correction of account information that cannot be updated through the portal.

Buzix, Inc. may require identity verification or account-owner authorization before changing account ownership, billing contacts, technical contacts, email addresses, passwords, payment information, cancellation status, or other sensitive account information.

Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about certain personal information. Buzix, Inc. will review privacy requests in accordance with applicable law and may require verification before responding.

Some information may need to be retained for billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, abuse investigation, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or legitimate business purposes.

Children's Privacy

Buzix, Inc. services are intended for businesses, organizations, and adults. Buzix, Inc. does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If Buzix, Inc. becomes aware that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, it will take reasonable steps to delete the information where required by law.

International Users

Buzix, Inc. is located in the United States, and services are operated primarily from the United States. If you access Buzix services from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed, stored, transferred, or accessed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate.

Buzix, Inc. may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version posted on the Buzix website or within the Buzix customer portal is the current version unless otherwise stated. Continued use of Buzix services after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
